Water Towers: Making Every Drop Count at the 18th Wonder Community Garden Water is one of the most valuable resources in any garden, and thanks to a LIVE UNITED Grant, the 18th Wonder Community Garden has added an innovative new feature to help gardeners make the most of every drop—a self-standing water tower system. Designed to provide a reliable, sustainable water source, these gravity-fed towers are making it easier for community gardeners to care for their crops while conserving resources and reducing the physical demands of watering.

Extending the Growing Season with Low Tunnels at 18th Wonder Community Garden Growing fresh, healthy food doesn't have to end when the weather changes. This year, the 18th Wonder Community Garden is introducing low tunnels—a simple yet effective gardening tool that helps extend the growing season while protecting crops from the elements. Thanks to support and guidance from the Berks County Department of Agriculture, gardeners now have another way to maximize their harvests and enjoy more successful growing seasons.
